New York-based, Gem Security, a CDR (Cloud detection and response) company raised $23 million led by GGV Capital in a Series A funding round.
Silicon Valley CISO Investments (SVCI), IBM Ventures, Angel investors, and Team8 actively backed the round. This round brought a total of $34 million to Gem Security.
Gem Security Raised $23M Series A
CEO Gem Security, Arie Zilberstein said that the funds raised will enable use for product development and expand operations across the globe.
Arie Zilberstein, Ofir Brukner, and Ron Konigsberg founded Gem Security to provide a dedicated platform for Cloud Detection and Response. VP Product Ofir Brukner said Gem Security enables users to detect, and contain threats as they emerge.
Moreover, Gem Security supports major platforms like Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud. You can use Gem Security in the cloud infra and fix all the vulnerabilities in one go for every member of the team.
Also, Gem Security fixes cloud environments and provides native forensics so a user can understand the root causes of a cloud breach. Since launching Gem Security scaled its ARR by helping multiple organizations with dozens of cloud solutions.
