California-based, Tabular, an Apache Iceberg data platform raised $26 million led by Altimeter Capital in the funding round.
Andreessen Horowitz and Zetta Venture Partners actively backed the round. After this round, the total funds brought in by the Tabular to date is $37 million.
Tabular Raised $26M Altimeter Capital
Co-founders Dan Weeks, Ryan Blue, and Jason Reid said that the funds raised will be used for storage expansion, and platform development to serve users beyond Google Cloud, MinIO, AWS, and Azure object storage.
Tabular is a cloud SaaS data platform made by an Apache Iceberg creator. Tabular is available on AWS and GCP (as a preview version). Enterprises use it to optimize cloud storage and price. It also provides centralized RBAC.
