Co-founders Dr. Vivian Chu and Dr. Andrea Thomaz said in an interview that the raised funds will be used to launch Moxi Robot in new hospitals to expand its operations, R&D, and accelerate growth.
Diligent Robotics is the creator of Moxi (an intelligent and advanced robot) that works with health organizations. The hospital uses Moxi to bring efficiency to patient care so that they can top their license and practice more.
Moreover, Moxi helps caretaking staff by off-loading hospital admin tasks like supplies, lab deliveries, and equipment reports. Moxi also helps hospitals in making new programs like virtual nursing and med deliveries.
Moxi is used by over 200 hospitals and 22 health systems. Diligent Robotics is working to triple its number in the coming years.
