California-based, American Discovery Capital, a fintech bank primarily focused on family-owned and founder-led businesses operated in the middle segment market recently closed its funding at $190 million.

Earlier American Discovery Capital Fund I was closed at $60 million in 2019. In 2019, ADC invested in 6 portfolios and 17 add-ons.

American Discovery Capital Closed Fund II

Co-founders Mike Denbeau, Laurent Degryse, John Joliet, Jeff Gelles, Peter Shoemaker, Frank McMahon, and Brian Webber said Fund II mostly focused on middle-segment businesses and will continue to grow it.

ADC Fund II is backed by diverse partners and also supported by Fund I investors. Moreover, 17% of the investment commitments are from employees and ADC partners state their trust and strong ideology of the company itself.

Also, ADC allows investors by providing them with non-competitive investments with industry expertise and market intelligence.
