California-based, Anrok, a sales tax software platform company raised $30 million led by Khosla Ventures in a Series B funding round.
Index Ventures, Intuit Ventures, and Sequoia Capital actively backed the round. EX CEO Intercom Karen Peacock, CFO Atlassian Alex Estevez, President 1Password David Faugno, and Elad Gil also participated in the round.
California-based Anrok Raised $30M Series B
CEO Anrok, Michelle Valentine said the funds raised will help Anrok with research and development and market expansion.
Anrok is a sales tax management software for global business. Anrok can be used by small startups and enterprises to manage and monitor tax filing, remittance, audits, and much more on just one platform.
Moreover, Anrok has expanded its business reach in other countries with a reconciliation tool. Michelle said that they have integrated VAT, GST, and advanced tax exemption certificates according to each country’s compliance.
In the last year, Anrok has successfully managed compliance with over $7 billion in revenue alone. Currently, Notion, Anthropic, Vanta, and many companies use Anrok to manage compliance globally.
In a press meeting, Michelle said that software developer companies are global and to manage all the complexities of global compliance and payments issues everyone needs a dedicated enterprise-grade solution.
