Here is a list of technical books that I have read, and my various reviews of interesting points within.
Also, if you would like me to review your book, please feel free to contact me via email (Adin.Ermie@outlook.com). I’ve done this for several of the books listed here, and many others that are not listed (due to authors selecting review method #2).
I have 2 different methods that I use for reviewing:
- Learning: I read the publication from the aspect of learning something new. I highlight interesting points, things I didn’t know (that are important to know), etc. Those all end up in one of my technical book reviews (as listed below).
- Critiquing: I read the publication, similar to a technical reviewer, where I will make notes, red-line items, write comments in the margins about formatting, wording, flow, etc. These reviews do not end up as a technical book review. Rather, they are submitted back to the author to refine the publication (either prior to release/print, or for consideration in vNext of the publication).
