Kin Raised $33M Series D

Chicago-based, Kin, D2C Home Insurance company raised $33 million led by QED Investors in a Series D extension. The total funds raised by Kin is $142 million in Series D.

The total funds brought in by Kin is $265 million to date. The round was actively participated by Hudson Structured Capital Management Ltd., Geodesic Capital, Alpha Edison, and Allegis Capital.

CEO Kin, Sean Harper said that the raised amount helps us to onboard new clients and consolidate our position in the market.

Kin is a D2C Home insurance company that eliminates all the middle agents between the insurer and the insured. Kin’s is a fin-tech company that understands the needs and requirements of insurance and delivers customized claims and services.
